Opening its' doors in 2006, i heart serves as the West Ashley area's only boutique.  Owner Kate Pittard graduated from College of Charleston in May of 2005 and promptly chose her career path.  A native of Charleston, Kate witnessed the King Street shopping district progress from small 'mom & pop' boutiques to a majority of corporate venues.  To her, Charleston had lost some of that charm and distinction that she had grown up with and loved.  Not adhering to the typical 'Charleston look', she sought to be unique - carrying lines from all over the world.  She also made a point to keep orders small to ensure a more one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
